What was once only planned and imagined became reality as the PSABE–PPG NwSSU-SJC Chapter staged its first-ever Local Convention 2026, highlighted by ABE Night — an evening that brought together recognition, talent, and pride in one meaningful gathering at the Audio-Visual Hall on January 30.

Students, faculty, and guests arrived in formal attire, setting a tone of elegance and unity. The program opened with messages that emphasized celebration not just of achievements, but of shared milestones and growth within the ABE community. Symbolic ceremonies followed, including the Pinning and Hatting of Bayaws and a candle-lighting tribute for fourth-year students preparing for their job training — quiet moments that carried deep meaning.

Energy filled the venue through musical and talent performances, leading into the awarding of outstanding participants from the three-day convention. One of the night’s most anticipated highlights, the Mr. and Ms. ABE 2026 pageant, showcased confidence, intellect, and stage presence. Candidates represented their teams with poise, proving that excellence goes beyond appearance.
Crowned as Mr. and Ms. ABE 2026 were James V. Pagatpat of ABEBlaze and Shiloh Nouvel G. Bernate of ABESpark, who will represent the chapter at the national level.

More than a formal event, ABE Night 2026 became a shared moment of identity and direction — a celebration of how far the Bayaws have come, and how boldly they are moving forward.
