The pool of Internal Quality Auditors formed by the Quality Assurance Office conducted an internal audit in compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) standards. The audit aimed to assess compliance, ensure effective implementation of documented procedures, and promote continuous improvement across campus operatio

The internal audit covered both administrative and academic support units that play a vital role in delivering quality services to stakeholders. Offices audited included the Research, Extension, and Innovation Office together with its implementing units, and the Student Academic Services Office including its support offices, as well as the Library; Motorpool Services; Security Services; Campus Clinic; Auxiliary Services and Business Affairs Office; Budget Office; Accounting Office; and the Registrar’s Office.

During the audit, trained internal auditors, both from San Jorge and Main Campus, systematically reviewed office processes, records, and practices to verify alignment with ISO 9001:2015 requirements. The activity also served as a platform for identifying strengths, nonconformities, and opportunities for improvement in service delivery, documentation, and operational efficiency.
Office heads and personnel actively participated in the audit by presenting their quality objectives, process workflows, and evidence of compliance. Their cooperation and openness reflected the campus’s shared responsibility in upholding a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The successful conduct of the Internal Quality Audit reinforces San Jorge Campus’ dedication to maintaining internationally recognized standards and ensuring that its services remain responsive, efficient, and stakeholder-focused. The results of the audit will guide corrective and preventive actions in preparation for future external surveillance audits.
Through initiatives such as this, San Jorge Campus continues to strengthen its quality assurance mechanisms in support of its mission to deliver excellent academic and administrative services.
