A community-wide blood donation drive was held on November 20, 2025, at 9:00 AM at the NWSSU–SJC Covered Court. The Rural Health Unit of San Jorge, the Samar Provincial Hospital Blood Bank Team, the Samar Provincial Health Office, and NWSSU–SJC joined forces to boost the local blood supply and support lifesaving care.
Faculty members, staff, and students of NWSSU–SJC took part in the activity, showing the campus community’s strong commitment to public service. Their participation helped widen the donor pool and reinforced the importance of regular blood donation.
Organizers noted that a single donation can go a long way for patients who rely on stable blood reserves. The event drew support from the wider community and strengthened efforts to sustain essential health services.
